In a dramatic turn of events in the NA-127 constituency race, Atta Tarar, a candidate from the PML-N, stormed into the PPP’s party office with a group of supporters.
He alleged that inside, there were attempts to buy votes for his electoral rival, the leader of the PPP, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.
The PPP swiftly condemned the incident, describing it as an assault on their election office orchestrated by “PML-N goons” under Atta Tarar’s guidance. They claimed that during this confrontation, some PPP workers were forcefully taken away.
In response to the upheaval, the PPP has declared its intention to bring the matter before the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and take action against the PML-N candidate.
