Citizens of Rawalpindi have taken to the streets in significant numbers, a protest rally organized by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has commenced Its journey from Liaquat Bagh towards Raja Bazaar. The rally expressing their discontent over what they claim to be widespread mandate theft during the recent elections. Protesters are asserting that nearly all National Assembly seats, along with 11 Provincial Assembly seats within the Rawalpindi district, have been unjustly taken from them.
Sher Afzal Marwat has participated in a rally in Rawalpindi where attendees vocally expressed their support for Imran Khan. The gathering was marked by fervent slogan chanting, favoring Khan, accompanied by a strong message of rejection against the alleged usurpation of their electoral mandate, as indicated by the hashtag #MandateTheftUnacceptable.
