Gold prices in Pakistan saw a notable rise on Tuesday, following the trend in the global market. The precious metal’s value reached Rs223,900 per tola, which marks an increase of Rs2,700 just for the day.
In detail, the rate for 10 grams of gold climbed up by Rs2,315, hitting Rs191,958. These updated prices were provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Just a few days ago, on Saturday, gold prices had already gone up by Rs3,500 per tola in Pakistan.
Internationally, the cost of gold also surged. It was recorded at $2,135 per ounce, which is $29 higher than before, plus an additional $20 premium, as noted by the APGJSA.
In the meantime, the price of silver in the local market stayed the same, at Rs2,600 per tola.
