The presence of a vast crowd contributed to the tumultuous atmosphere early on. Supporters rushed to gain entry, causing a disruption that made it challenging for members of the legislative assembly (MLAs) to find their seats.
Officials made announcements urging the attendees to display discipline, requesting that they make space for the leadership to be seated. They warned that failure to comply might result in the doors of the Chief Minister and Speaker’s residences being closed to them.
